April has arrived in Parkland, but don’t expect April Showers. The weather in Parkland is sublime during April. The skies are blue, temperatures are warm, the humidity is low and the rains usually do not arrive until the end of May. To make things even more idyllic, the flowers are blooming, the butterflies are fluttering, and baby bunnies are hopping. It’s the perfect time to be a Parklander. April is a quiet month.

Have your Lawn Egged for Easter: The Egg My Lawn Fundraiser supports the Gina Rose Montalto Memorial Foundation, Inc. With a donation to the Foundation, their ‘Easter Bunnies’ will place/hide the eggs in your front lawn and place a sign on your lawn to let your neighbors know of your support to the Foundation.

Gina Rose, was a victim of the mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, on February 14, 2018. The foundation created in memory helps students with the cost of post secondary education, as well as make charitable donations to causes Gina supported.
