Parkland’s weather is at its best during the month of February. The sky is bright blue. The clouds are fluffy. The temperature is mild and the sun is shining. This is the Bill Sohl Luxury Homes Team’s favorite month of the year. Since the days are getting longer, we have more time to show our beautiful listings and to help our buyers preview homes.

Ride a Bike or Take a Walk: February is the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors. Parkland offers a very comprehensive paved multi-purpose trail system throughout the entire city. Since we have breathtaking sunsets during this time of the year, ride your bike or take a stroll to your favorite spot and have a cocktail while watching the sunset.
February is Library Lover’s Month: Head on over to the Parkland Library and show them some love. The Parkland Library is offering some great events, classes and movies during February for Parkland residents to enjoy. For more information please visit this link.
Pet Expo/Farmers’ Market: February 5th 9 am to 1 pm. With over a 100 vendors, there will be something for you and your furry friend.
Movie Matinee and Nibbles for Black History Month: On February 6th the movie “King Richard,” will play at the City of Parkland Library. The movie will be offered on other dates throughout the month. Use your Parkland Library card to register now.
Craft Fair/Farmers’ Market: February 19th crafters and artists throughout south Florida will join the Farmers’ Market vendors to offer their work for sale. This is a popular event so get there early. 9 am to 1 pm at the Equestrian Center.
Parkland Cornhole Tournament: On February 18th participate in this fun competition. There will be food trucks, prizes, and fun at Pine Trails Park. Games start at 10:30 am and the tournament is double elimination. Registration can be done at the Quigley Tennis Center. Call us for details at (954)757-4103.
Candle Light Dinner in a Private Gazebo by the Water at Déjà Blue Restaurant: February 10th to February 14th in honor of Valentine’s Day, Deja Blue is offering the Gazebo Love Package. This private and indulgent dining experience will include complimentary chilled champagne, live private violin entertainment, box of chocolate strawberries, a fresh flower bouquet and a candlelight dinner in a private gazebo.
Stoneman Douglas High School Baseball: If you love serious baseball, you will want to watch The Stoneman Douglas varsity baseball team as they host a home tournament game vs. Coral Springs Charter on Monday, February 20 @ 6:30 pm.
Orchid & Plant Festival at The Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital: During the weekend of February 25- 26, 2023 the Wildlife Center will host an orchid and plant show and market. Some of the best orchid, tropical plants & succulent growers will offer their beautiful plants for sale. In addition, attendees will have an opportunity to tour the center and meet some of its residents.
Get Ready to Celebrate Parkland’s 60th Birthday: Although Parkland’s birthday is March 11th, some of the celebration begins earlier.
